While Lolli Bars specializes in providing couture candy buffets and gourmet dessert bars, there are many variations and other alternative buffet options available.  In addition, buffets can be extended to allow for more variety and an added element of surprise. For example, a candy buffet can be combined with a popcorn buffet!  Another example would be to add an alternative option such as sugarless or kosher candies.  There are literally so many options to choose from, that it's impossible to cover them all on this page.  Rest assured that our buffet stylist will help you choose the absolute best spread for your event! 

WHAT IS THE PRICE OF A TYPICAL CANDY OR DESSERT BUFFET?

 

​Since all of our candy buffets and dessert bars are custom, it's impossible to quote an exact price without conducting an initial consultation.  However, our pricing plan is very simple.  You pay for the cost of the candy and desserts, in addition to a flat rate design fee which is based upon the number of guests and types of confectioneries selected.  We don't  mark up or take a profit on the confectioneries and we don't charge for most of the supplies needed for your buffet, such as tables, linens, props, candy dishes, serving utensils, etc.   A complete estimate will be prepared, based upon your budget, theme and preferences that will be discussed during a FREE initial consultation.

WHAT'S INCLUDED WITH A BUFFET PACKAGE?

Here's what's included with the purchase of a custom Lolli Bars buffet package:

  • A free consultation

  • A professional buffet stylist to assist and plan every detail 

  • A complete and original design concept, custom tags, labels and signage

  • A detailed service agreement and invoice outlining details and costs of the buffet 

  • No extra charge for the use of Lolli Bars' tables, linens, candy dishes, serving utensils and display props

  • Selection of confectioneries, table elements, ordering, and returns

  • Co-coordinating with other event planners, venue, and vendors

  • Complete set up and break down on the day of the event

  • A professional table attendant during the event to monitor the tables and replenish confectioneries as needed

  • Proper care and distribution of all left overs to a pre-designated person

  • Friendly, professional, and reliable service throughout the entire process

 

MY EVENT IS OUTSIDE OF LOS ANGELES, WHAT IS YOUR SERVICE AREA?

 

We realize that many weddings and events are held outside of the Los Angeles area.  Lolli Bars  will  travel to any destination. However, there may be additional fees to cover travel expenses depending on the distance, and type of transportation that will be required for us to provide our service.  Additional fees if any, will be factored into an estimate which is provided within 2-4 days of the initial consultation.

HOW SOON SHOULD I RESERVE MY BUFFET?



Although it is possible to plan a buffet in as little as 2-4 weeks, we do ask that you book at least 6-8 weeks in advance to ensure our availability for your event!  In addition, it's important to allow ample time for the delivery of special order and exclusive items for your buffet.  Please keep in mind that our busiest times of the year are during the holidays and summer months, where dates begin filling as early as 12 months in advance!
